Veterans honored through golf, camaraderie and a relaxing day at Talking Rock
Veterans are being honored by Prescott’s premier master-planned community, Talking Rock, through a complimentary day of golf on November 11.
Veterans are invited to Talking Rock to play the 18-hole Jay Morrish Championship course, as well as enjoy golf clinics and plenty of delicious food and fare. This is the second year for this popular annual event.
Said Milward Bell-Bhati, Talking Rock General Manager, “This is one of our favorite days at Talking Rock – these men and women have sacrificed so much on our behalf, and we love the opportunity to let them have a day when all they need to focus on is where the little white ball lands! It’s a chance for us to give back with great golf, food, clinics, and hopefully a few Talking Rock memories.”
Created by world-renowned golf course architect, Jay Morrish, Talking Rock’s unforgettable course melds into the surrounding high-desert landscape and offers fantastic views of the Prescott area. The par-72 layout surprises and challenges even frequent member players. Morrish’s deep bunkers, signature reachable par-4s and perfectly crafted greens keep players on their toes. The front 9 moves through stretches of natural terrain that feature juniper, native grasses and scrub pine forest backed by show-stopping views of Granite Mountain. On the back 9, the elevation climbs and more-rugged terrain requires players to adjust their game to finish strong.
Tee times for this event begin at 11 a.m. Lunch is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. To learn more or register by Friday, November 7, contact Steve Talentino at 928-493-2606 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Reservations are limited.
Thirty minutes from downtown Prescott, Talking Rock is private, guard-gated, master-planned community that offers a variety of home sites of 2 to 10 acres for custom build on the golf course. Ready-to-move-in options also are available. Visit Talking Rock. https://talkingrockaz.com/
