Talking Rock golf etiquette enhances year-round enjoyment

Golfers love Talking Rock in Prescott because it features experiences that can be enjoyed year-round. At the center of them is the 18-hole, Jay Morrish-designed championship golf course, practice area, double-ended driving range and new nine-hole putting venue, Silent Moon Park.

With many new members, guests or others who may be unfamiliar with Talking Rock, the management team has worked with members to create a few golf etiquette updates that prioritize safety. Known for its rolling hills, breathtaking high-chaparral views and challenging yet fair play, Talking Rock is designed for a quality experience each time you tee up.

Whether enjoying a game, or walking on nearby trails, these tips and general Talking Rock golf etiquette ensure a positive experience for you and others:

  • If you wish to walk the lush course, please do so only along the cart path before 7 a.m. or after 7 p.m.
  • If walking your dog along the course before 7 a.m. or after 7 p.m., it is essential that you keep your pet on a leash and bring the necessary supplies to clean up after it.
  • Cottage residents wanting to spend time at the clubhouse may walk on the cart path as long as there are no active golfers nearby.
  • Safety is our top priority so be watchful of golfers, maintenance crews and wildlife that may be on the cart path any time of the day or night.

Whether enjoying a game or walking on nearby trails, these updates and Talking Rock golf etiquette will ensure a positive experience for you and others.
