Winter Golf Update
Think you can’t golf in Northern Arizona this winter, think again…
With Prescott’s mild four seasons, Talking Rock was designed to provide a top-level golf experience year-round. Occasionally the course gets a light dusting of snow, but within a day, the snow will melt, and the Championship 18-hole Jay Morrish-designed course reopens.
New Practice Facility and Driving Range
This fall, Talking Rock opened a new practice facility and double-sided driving range on the south end of the course. Members and their guests have loved the fairway bunker for chipping, different elevations, and wide-open breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
Silent Moon Park Putting Course
In Spring 2019, additional enhancements are being made to the game. Talking Rock will open Silent Moon Park, a new nine-hole putting and chipping area.
Designed with today’s sometimes casual golfer in mind, Silent Moon Park allows all abilities and ages to gather together, enjoy a cocktail or beer and not take themselves too seriously.
Designed to be both challenging and fun, the 9-holes have A-4 bentgrass and varied undulation, similar to the finest putting greens in the nation.
Silent Moon Park is over three acres in size, with a ramada, BBQ and restrooms in the middle perfect for parties, events and other gatherings. Members will also enjoy Silent Moon Park’s half-mile trail perfect for evening walks with the dog.
Jay Morrish 18-Hole Course
No matter what level your game, Talking Rock’s 18-hole Championship course lets you golf at your own pace amidst high chaparral views and seasonal temperatures just right for year-round play. Fair, challenging, and rewarding, it is no wonder this course has earned numerous accolades, including ranking first of Arizona’s Best Courses by Golf Digest Magazine.
