8 Magical Holiday Event in Prescott

Prescott is often called Arizona’s Christmas City because it becomes a magical destination during wintertime. Each year, Yavapai County lights up over 100 trees at the Yavapai County Courthouse and the surrounding plaza. Thousands of lights illuminate the majestic columns of the courthouse and yes, Santa makes an appearance on a horse-drawn carriage.  Many compare it to the small-town Christmas feel of Bedford Falls in Frank Capra’s “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Here’s a look at the best Prescott Christmas events throughout the month of December.
