Prescott Named Most Patriotic City in Arizona
Prescott, Arizona
Insurify, a U.S. insurance comparison-shopping website, recently ranked cities across the nation to determine which were the most patriotic. After analyzing more than 900,000 individuals’ insurance information, it determined that Prescott was Arizona’s most patriotic city!
The decision to serve – at home or abroad – often comes at a cost to self, family and friends. To be a community with a large number of courageous and selfless individuals (like Veterans) is a badge of honor that we in Prescott are grateful for.
For this study, Insurify ranked a city’s level of patriotism by the number of men and women that have served or are currently serving our country. This data was then analyzed and the top-ranking city in each state identified. According to their website, “In the eyes of the Insurfy team, it is these communities that deserve to be recognized and highlighted as the most patriotic cities in America.”
Some of the awardees weren’t a big surprise, being near a military base, but others like Prescott represent, “pockets of patriotism that may be overlooked,” Insurify shared. All deserve to be saluted for their contributions to the national defense as do their host cities and citizens that have welcomed them.
