Here’s a little bit more about her and her connection to Talking Rock.
Q: Tell us a bit about yourself. How long have you lived in Prescott?
I was born in South Dakota then raised in Arizona. I am married with three sons. Until recently, even the dog and cat were boys but we recently welcomed a little girl puppy into our family. When I’m not at Talking Rock, I am either watching my kids play sports or out exploring the outdoors in Prescott in our Can-AM.
Q: How long have you been working in real estate? And what drew you to it?
I’ve been in real estate since 2001. Since a young child, I have always appreciated houses. I used to love driving around different neighborhoods looking at houses as a child. I was 18 when I got my first job in a Real Estate/Property Management office. I was drawn to the home buying process and helping people through the process.
Q: What is the market like right now in Prescott and luxury homes in general?
The Prescott luxury home market is in high demand. Affluent homebuyers are drawn to Prescott and Talking Rock particularly because of the lifestyle. There is a greater demand for gated communities with more amenities. Buyers are drawn to Sterling Ranch with the opportunity to build a legacy across 2.5 to 10 acres on one of our limited custom homesites. Sterling Ranch gives buyers the option to build a guest house, a larger garage for a car collection, or a home for recreational toys.
Q: What are the most common questions you hear from potential Talking Rock buyers?
They really want to know about the community and the lifestyle here. Buyers are also curious about how our membership works. They are always surprised to find out our membership is vertical which means their children, grandchildren, and even their parents can enjoy the membership privileges.
Q: What is your process like when working with a client?
We invite our clients to come for a Discovery Experience. This gives the client the opportunity to enjoy Talking Rock like a member. We always strive to put our clients’ minds at ease and make it a stress-free experience. We give our clients the amenity tour and tour of the property. We also make sure to go over membership and HOA and make sure all their questions are answered.
Q: What do you like about Talking Rock?
I love the sense of community in Talking Rock. Our members are so welcoming. They really rally behind other members and even our staff. You will not find another community like it. Neighbors taking care of neighbors. The club prides itself on recognizing every member and really makes you feel like family.
