6 Best Fall Events in Prescott
Take a weekend to enjoy the vibrant fall colors in Prescott during the fall months. It’s nice to soak in the small-town atmosphere and enjoy the natural beauty and local entertainment. We’ve listed our favorite fairs and festivities in Prescott, most within 30 minutes of Talking Rock.
Faire On The Square
The 33rd Annual Faire on the Square is held at Courthouse Plaza, 120 S. Cortez Street. It’s THE place to be for Labor Day weekend, Sept. 1-3! Yavapai County Fair
This year’s Fair will be held in early September with a carnival, food vendors, farm animals and arts, crafts, and culinary competitions and animal showcases. The fun takes place at Prescott Rodeo Grounds, 840 Rodeo Dr, Prescott. Sept. 6-9. The $35 4-Day Family Pack will admit two Adults and four Kids each of the four days of the Fair. https://www.yavapaifair.com/.
2018 Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Alzheimer’s Walks scheduled throughout the country are touted as the world’s largest event to end Alzheimer’s. This popular event takes place at the Courthouse on Sept. 15 and is sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association. Prescott Courthouse Plaza- 120 S. Cortez Street Prescott. Prescott Antique Show and Vintage Market
The Prescott Antique Show has a rich history as Arizona’s most popular antique destination. This year, it’s held at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds, 840 Rodeo Dr., Prescott on Sunday, Oct. 7. The event is sponsored by the Thumb Butte and Yavapai Questers, a non-profit organization that gives proceeds to museums, historical societies, cemeteries and other area projects. https://www.prescottantiqueshow.com/.
FallFest in the Park Arts and Crafts Show
On October 6 at 9 a.m. – Oct. 7 at 5 p.m., the FallFest in the Park Arts and Crafts Show features over 100 vendors under the fall canopy of American Elm trees at Prescott’s Historic Courthouse Plaza. Boo at the Zoo
Come in costume and trick-or-treat at different stations around the Heritage Park Zoo Sanctuary with your favorite animals. Bring a flashlight and see all the nocturnal residents out and about! Boo at the Zoo is held every October 31st from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Special Admission Prices are $4 for HPZS Members and $6 for Non-Members. Skip the line and purchase your tickets in advance.
