Talking Rock’s Summer Sunsets Are Masterpieces
Arizona summers usually bring with them a changing wind, one that ushers in puffy clouds filled with spectacular, at-times drenching, thunderstorms. The shift is known as this region’s monsoon, and higher elevations like Prescott, seem to benefit more regularly from it than Phoenix does a couple of hours away.
The storms roll in, cooling off steamy afternoons, offering an energized light show, and setting the stage for a perfectly comfortable evening that practically begs for the colorful sunsets that consistently close the day at Talking Rock.
It’s one of the reasons the patios on our rustic ranches are so priceless, offering a front-row seat to nature’s artistry as it unfolds. It’s difficult not to feel a connection to the spectacular, high-desert setting as storm clouds open up, replenishing the lakes and creeks in the area and rejuvenating the landscape in and around Talking Rock.
The peach and tangerine and raspberry skies that melt together as the storm clouds dissolve are unlike any other backdrop, providing a picture-perfect setting for evenings that include family and friends around fires, conversations on patios or long walks around this open, inviting community.
It’s almost as if Talking Rock’s incredible sunsets are a getaway themselves, an escape to a canvas awash in vibrant colors and a brilliant energy.
