Top 4 Places to See Holiday Lights in Prescott

There’s so much to see during the month of December in Prescott, known as Christmas City. Gather together the entire family and plan some outings to see the fabulous holiday lighting around town. Memories in the making!

Courthouse Square Lights
Yavapai County lights up over 100 trees on the courthouse as well as the surrounding the plaza. Initial ceremony is first Saturday of December and the gorgeous display runs throughout the month.

Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary Wild Lights
Don’t miss the “Wildlights and Animal Sights” event at Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary!

The holiday light display is rated one of the best in the state and is open to the public every Friday and Saturday evening from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., running through December 29. The zoo is filled with festive holiday decorations, music, and spectacular light displays. Light concessions available, including hot cocoa and coffee. Visit the Gift Shop for special holiday gifts!

Special event admission is $5 for HPZS Members and $8 for non-members.

Valley of Lights
Here’s a great way to stay toasty warm and view holiday lights in Prescott Valley from the comfort of your car. From November 22 through December 30, check out the one-mile drive of light displays in Fain Park, off 5th St. in Prescott. 6-10 p.m.

Enchanted Christmas
Create special holiday memories at Depot Marketplace in downtown Prescott. There’s an amazing Indoor Holiday Light Attraction with themed rooms adorned with more than a half a million lights. There is something for everyone to enjoy.

A highlight of Enchanted Christmas is the massive Department 56 Christmas Village including buildings from Dickens Christmas, New England, Christmas in the City, Snow Village and North Pole Series. There’s even a Polar Express train running through the village!
