Festival season is right around the corner, and Prescott is one of the best places to celebrate the season. It’s the wonderful time of year when local artisans, gardeners and farmers share what they’ve been working on for months. Here’s a roundup of the best farms and festivals to experience in the coming months as we close out summer and head into fall.
Arts and Crafts Festival
The Arts and Crafts Festival is an annual event in the Prescott area. It brings together local artists such as potters, weavers and wood turners. Come watch a piece be thrown on the wheel by a potter and enjoy food from the vendors while searching for unique pieces of art.

Prescott Water Lantern Festival
Water Lantern Festivals are held all across the country and there is one coming to Prescott. The water lantern festival includes an evening with music, food and a lantern send off. Participants get to write a personalized message on their lanterns and send it off onto the water.

Mortimer Farms: Pumpkin Fest and Corn Maze
From Sept. 27 – Oct. 27 you can experience Mortimer Farms during the fun of pumpkin picking season. Every year they invite the public to help harvest in their pumpkin patch, explore a corn maze and enjoy outdoor fun and games. This is the perfect place to make some fun fall memories with family and friends.

Hope Fest is a festival dedicated to veterans, active military, first responders and the vulnerable individuals in the area. As a community Prescott hopes to support these people in the community by providing an event with education and fun for all ages.

This is the 41st annual folk music festival being held at Sharlot Hall Museum. Each year over 100 performers participate in the festival bringing together a diverse collection of music. Come enjoy time with friends and family!

Whipstone Farm is a local Prescott farm that specializes in fruits, vegetables and flowers. They sell their produce at the Prescott Farmer’s Market every week, but you can also go to the farm and purchase from the produce stand. Afterwards guests are welcome to go on a self-guided tour of the farm.
