Demand to Retreat Endures
If this year has shown us anything at Talking Rock, it’s that few things will silence an inner desire to create a legacy in a place as unique and magnetic as this community. Never has there been a greater need for tranquility, freedom to roam, and space to do it than during this calendar year.
Talking Rock, a private golf community near Prescott, Arizona, is a thriving example of that need.
Despite a prevailing economic climate that has been difficult for many businesses and individuals, interest in owning at Talking Rock has not waned. Our real estate team has been busy this year, managing transactions and offering virtual and socially-distanced tours of our amenity-rich community to meet the demand of those in search of a luxury cabin that has access to picturesque open space, views of nearby mountains, and a front-row seat to a natural landscape filled with wildlife.
Symmetry Realty Brokerage, the exclusive brokerage within Talking Rock, closed 90 transactions throughout the year, totaling nearly $38 million, with an average home price of more than $665,000. And developer homesites sold well, also, averaging a sale price of more than $238,000.
It helped that buyers had choices.
We introduced Pioneer Point this year, a limited collection of high-desert retreats that allow for flexible design and offer space for entertaining friends and family. Capturing the rustic spirit of the area, Pioneer Point offers four floorplans that emphasize indoor-outdoor living and fuse with the landscape around them.
In addition to Pioneer Point, our Outlaw Series is getting attention, as are the homesites we have available at Cooper Hawk Ridge and Sterling Ranch.
Beyond the interest we’re seeing in our homes, though, is an interest we’re seeing in the lifestyle we enjoy at Talking Rock. It’s one that leads with hospitality and is infused with a spirit of peace and outdoor adventure, from championship golf to hiking to water sports — all of which were in high demand this year.
