Cheers to the High Points
A long year is coming to a close, and despite the challenges we have faced in 2020, we intentionally take pride in and celebrate the high moments we experienced with members and residents at Talking Rock throughout the year.
More than anything, we’re grateful that our owners were able to retreat to Talking Rock, near Prescott, Arizona, for comfort and peace during a chaotic and unnerving spring season. Our community as a whole is designed to offer a space for serenity every day, and we loved knowing that when our owners craved open space — from hikes to bike rides to easy neighborhood walks — they could find it here.
Space, after all, is one of our biggest perks.
Hospitality is, too. When safety guidelines disrupted traditional service operations, our staff at Talking Rock looked for new ways to deliver on its promise of unmatched hospitality. From curbside pizza orders to a more robust market pantry, we looked for ways to meet the needs of our members during difficult times.
We still found ways to safely gather, since gathering is one of our favorite activities at Talking Rock. We met at safe distances, listened to live music together, competed on the pickleball courts, and tended to our community garden.
And we continued playing golf. Talking Rock’s championship course didn’t see much of a breather this year, and we’re grateful to those who played while being mindful of safety guidelines.
We were even able to adjust the way we introduce others to our community by offering virtual, video, and caravan-style tours of Talking Rock and its luxury homes. These new options allowed us to bring Talking Rock to those who were interested in our community, in the comfort and safety of their own homes.
All in all, it was a year of change for Talking Rock, big and small. And we think our ability to navigate it all, as a community, is worth celebrating.
